Epiphthora spectrella

Epiphthora spectrella is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Meyrick in 1904. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.[1]

The wingspan is 10–11 mm. The forewings are whitish, sometimes much suffused with whitish-ochreous, irrorated with ochreous or fuscous. There is an outwardly oblique bar from the middle of the dorsum reaching half across the wing, and a spot on the tornus dark fuscous, often partially or almost wholly obsolete. The hindwings are grey.[2]
