Epermenia profugella is a moth of the family Epermeniidae. It is found in northern, central and eastern Europe.[2]

The wingspan is 8–10 mm.[3] The forewings are dull greyish bronze, tinged with fuscous. The hindwings are dark grey.[4]

The larvae feed within the seedheads of Pimpinella species, including Pimpinella saxifraga. The species overwinters in the pupal stage within a cocoon.[5]
