Plot

Savithri (Zarina Wahab) works as a maid for Surendran (Mohanlal). Sivaraman (Mammootty) is Savithri's brother. Sivaraman and Surendran hate each other. Savithri is in love with Vishwanathan (Ratheesh). Surendran is a stone-hearted and abusive youngster who Savithri doesn't love. Sivaraman and Surendran fight each other throughout the movie. One is because of Surendran's abuse at Savithri. Another is a lie that Surendran told. In the climax, Surendran wants to flirt with Savithri but Savithri just slaps him in the face. This angers Surendran and he abusively rapes her. Vishwanathan rescues Savithri and he is ready to kill Surendran. Sivaraman defeats Surendran in a fight once again and stabs him. Surendran then falls to his death. This film ends with Sivaraman reconciling with Savithri and Vishwanathan.
