Elly Coenen-Vaessen

Elisabeth Francisca Maria “Elly” Coenen-Vaessen (26 February 1932 – 8 April 2020) was a Dutch VVD politician and mayor of Nuth (1986–1997) who fought for emancipation.[1] She was mayor until her retirement in 1997. She was born in Bocholtz and died, aged 88, in Heerlen.
