Elliptio congaraea

Elliptio congaraea, the Carolina slabshell, is a species of freshwater mussel, an aquatic bivalve mollusk in the family Unionidae, the river mussels.[1][2]

Distribution

This species is endemic to the southeastern United States.[2]
