Eastrop Park

Eastrop Park is a public park located in the east of Basingstoke.[1] The park features a boating lake, a miniature golf course, a café and walking trails.[2][3] The River Loddon flows through the park.

History

The park was opened in 1972. The name Eastrop derives from the Saxon name, meaning 'Eastern Settlement'.[4]

Eastrop Park was the site of Basingstoke Corn Mill in 1873.[5]
