Its fundraising efforts, such as the Adopt a School[6] initiative, are ongoing throughout the year and target both corporations as well as individuals. In terms of advocacy efforts, Dubai Cares advocates for its cause within the community, with particular focus on the young ones as its believe it is important to start early with educating people about the importance of education and being charitable. Advocacy efforts include the Dubai Cares Distinguished Philanthropic Award in Schools[7] as well as the Walk for Education.[8]
