Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex

On 15 October 2015,[1] Defence Minister, Shri Manohar Parrikar renamed after Dr Kalam[2] the famous Missile Complex[3] of Hyderabad, India. It comprises three most important laboratories - Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL) primarily known for contributions to Agni Missiles, Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL) famous for its contributions to IGMDP programme and Research Centre Imarat (RCI) the Missile Avionics Laboratory which was the brainchild of Dr Abdul Kalam who founded the laboratory and led as its first Director.[4]

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex[5] has made significant national contributions in Missile Systems and Technologies.
