Dominic Fobih

Dominic Fobih (Born 16 July 1942) was the member of parliament for Assin South in the Central region of Ghana.[1][2]

Personal life

Dominic is married with nine children. He is a Christian (Catholic).[1]

Early life and education

He was born on 16th July, 1942 in Assin Jakai in Central region.[1][2]

He did his PhD in Educational Psychology at the University of Alberta in Canada in 1979.[1][2]

Career

Dominic is a member of New Patriotic Party.[1] He served as a member of Parliament from 2001 to 2016.[2][1]

He was the minister for education under John Kuffour regime.[3] served as a member of the Education and House committees when his party NPP came to opposition in 2012 [2] and was the minority spoke person on education.[4]

Dominic was a lecturer at UCC.[1][2]

He is the current board chairman of Ghana Education Trust fund (GETFUND).[5][6]
