Dmitri Dyuzhev

Dmitri Alverovich Dyuzhev (Russian: Дмитрий Альверович Дюжев) (born July 9, 1977) is a Russian film and stage actor and singer.[1][2][3]

Early life

Dmitri Dvorian (Dyuzhev) was born on July 9, 1977 in Astrakhan, in the family of actor Alver Dvorian and Ludmila Dyuzheva. In 1995 he graduated the "School of Gifted Children" and entered the GITIS (Directing Department, acting group, workshop by Mark Zakharov). Dmitri played Donevan in Boris Godunov. Rehearsals coincided with the shooting of the television series Bayazet, in which Dyuzhev was invited for one of the main roles, but Dmitri declined to act in the series.[4]

Career

Dyuzhev debuted in film 24 Hours by Alexander Atanesyan in 2000.

After a while actor was invited to act in criminal saga Brigada by Aleksei Sidorov. Dyuzhev was found through a small actor's agency in which he was registered. The role of Kosmos immediately made him a household name in Russia.

In 2005, he starred in Dead Man's Bluff by Aleksei Balabanov together with Nikita Mikhalkov and Aleksei Panin and in It does not Hurt to Dream.

In 2006, starred in Ostrov by Pavel Lungin. The film closed the 2006 Venice Film Festival, proved to be a moderate box-office success and won both the Nika Award and the Golden Eagle Award as the Best Russian film of 2006.

Since 2006, Dmitry Dyuzhev is an actor of the Moscow Art Theatre.

After participating and winning the TV show Two Stars, he acts as a vocalist and tours with his partner Tamara Gverdtsiteli.

In 2009 High Security Vacation with Dmitri and Sergey Bezrukov was released in theaters. The film has had great success with audiences - for the first two weeks in Russia, it collected more than $15 million, which is one of the best figures in the history of Russian film.

In 2010 starred in Burnt by the Sun 2 by Nikita Mikhalkov.

In 2011, Dyuzhev's debut as a director took place. After graduating from the High Courses for Scriptwriters and Film Directors, he completed his thesis work - a half-hour film Brothers, which participated in the Kinotavr program in the short films competition.

In 2012, the premiere of the anthology film Moms took place, where Dyuzhev shot the segment "My Beloved" with Sergei Bezrukov.

In 2014, Dyuzhev filmed an episode for the movie Champions, about the story of love and sports life of Anton Sikharulidze and Elena Berezhnaya.

In 2015, Dmitry Dyuzhev made his debut as a theater director, staging the play Bench on the play of A. Gelman with the participation of actors: A. Khabarova and V. Lanskoy.

Personal life

On February 14, 2008 Dmitri married Tatiana Dyuzheva, and they were married on July 20, 2008. Their son, Ivan, was born on 8 August 2008.[5]
