Dheeraj Sharma (politician)

Dheeraj Sharma (born 20 December 1986) is an Indian youth leader, who is currently serving as National President Of NYC the Youth Wing of Nationalist Congress Party and have recently been appointed All India president NCP youth wing. He is also founder and President of NGO OSST which works in field of educational upliftment and addresses youth problems.

Early life and education

Sharma was born in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

Political career

He is an active social worker since his college days and focused on youth brigade problems. He rose as a youth leader when he was appointed national president of NSC by Sharad Pawar. He played a vital role in expanding NCP and establishing new centres of NSC especially outside Maharashtra. He was very popular with students of many colleges and universities in Pune, and his popularity and later spread to Delhi University.

OSST

He founded an NGO named Organisation Of Social Services Trust In Pune, Maharshtra, which mainly work in field of educational and youth oriented problems. It has an estimated volunteer strength of 25,000 students.
