Deshpande Tanda

Deshpande Tanda is located at Sindagi Road Indi, town Indi district Vijayapura, Karnataka state, India. Deshpande Tanda is divided into two tandas called Deshpande LT No.1 and Deshpande LT No.2, which is distance of 2 km and 4 km respectively from Indi.[1]

These tandas have a group of people called Goar Banjara or Lambani, which comes in group of schedule caste. These people are very poor, below the poverty line, and less literate compared to others.

These tandas belongs to ward number 21 in Indi taluk and are controlled by member of municipal corporation Indi elected by the people. And also headed by two peoples called (Naik and Karbhari) were responsible of tandas.

Each Tanda has one temple consist of shree Sevalal maharaj and shree Durga Devi. Every year conducted big pooja of two days, and there is very old religious good culture singing, dancing programme.
