Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Act
The Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Act came into force on 4 April 2005. It is an Act passed as Chapter 10 in the Statutes of Canada of 2005 by the Parliament of Canada during the Martin government.[1][2]
Synopsis
The Act began to take shape in February 2001, which was created in December 2003 during a reorganization of the federal government. It became legally established when the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Act came to be.
