Trivia

In Bollywood, Kamal Haasan and Rati Agnihotri had done two films together; While Ek Duuje Ke Liye became a blockbuster, Dekha Pyar Tumhara became a flop. Kamal had 3 Hindi releases in 1985, Saagar, Geraftaar and Dekha Pyar Tumhara. After Dekha Pyar Tumhara, Kamal left Bollywood for personal reasons and resurfaced with Chachi 420 (1997) and Mumbai Xpress (2005), even though he had successful Hindi dubbed releases like Pushpak (dubbed from Kannada) in 1988, Appu Raja (dubbed from Tamil), Mayor Sahab (dubbed from Telugu) in 1990, Hindustani (dubbed from Tamil) in 1996 and Nayakan (released in 1987) in 1999 which was originally made in Tamil language.
