Deichmann SE
Deichmann SE[3] (formerly Heinrich Deichmann-Schuhe GmbH & Co. KG) is a major German footwear retail chain founded in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. In 2017, business newspaper, Handelsblatt, called it the biggest shoe vendor in Europe.[4]

Established in 1913 by Heinz-Horst Deichmann, the company remains 100% owned by the Deichmann family.[5]
Deichmann's United States operations are limited to one store, in the Towson Town Center, in Towson, Maryland, and previously operated a store in the Holyoke Mall, in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Deichmann has partial presence in France and Russia, via online retail.
