Dawlat Wazir Bahram Khan

Dawlat Wazir Bahram Khan (Bengali: দৌলত উজির বাহরাম খান, romanized: Doulot Uzir Bahram Khan; c. 16th century CE) was a Bengali poet of medieval era. Born in Fateabad or Jafrabad in Chittagong, his original name was Asauddin. His father Mubarak Khan was vizier of ruler of Chittagong. His famous works are the long poems Layla and Majnun and Imam Bijoy.[1]

Career

After death of his father, Nizam Sur, ruler of Chittagong, gave him the place of his father and made a vizier.[1]
