David Cameron (footballer, born 1895)

David Fraser Cameron (12 September 1895 – 27 July 1953) was a Scottish professional football wing half who played in the Football League for Chelsea.[1][2][3]

Personal life

Cameron served in the Highland Light Infantry and the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders during the First World War and rose to the rank of sergeant.[4][5] His elder brother Macdonald was killed at Passchendaele in 1917.[5]
