Darren Peters (consultant)

Darren Peters is an American public affairs consultant and political strategist. Peters served Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign as a traveling political advisor.[1] He is the founder and managing partner of the Peter Damon Group, a strategic public affairs, business development and event management services firm.[2]

Peters earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Hendrix College.[3] Peters is an Arkansas native and was appointed to a White House staffer position during the presidency of Bill Clinton. He then went on to work for the Democratic National Committee, the Department of Commerce and the Department of Energy.[4]

Peters became the Director of Federal Government Affairs for the Entergy Corporation,[5] and he founded PowerPlay Magazine to highlight the accomplishments and diversity of African Americans in Arkansas. In 2008 and 2016, Peters became a traveling advisor to Hillary Clinton during her presidential bid.

In 2017, Peters founded the Peter Damon Group which he still leads.
