Daniel S. Paletko

Daniel S. "Dan" Paletko (born December 21, 1950) is a Michigan politician.

Early life

Paletko was born on December 21, 1950.[1]

Education

Paletko earned a BA from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, an MBA from the University of Detroit, and an MST from Wayne State University.[1]

Career

Paletko formerly worked as a Certified Public Accountant and a financial manager at Ford Motor Company. Paletko first got involved with politics by attending Dearborn Heights city council meetings. At some point later, Paletko served as a councilor for the city.[2] On November 5, 2002, Paletko was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives where he represented the 17th district from January 8, 2003 to 2004.[1] On January 2004, Paletko was elected as the mayor of Dearborn Heights and currently serves in this office.[3][4][5]

Personal life

Paletko has two daughters. Paletko is a member of the American Legion. Paletko attends and ushers at St. Linus Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights.[2]
