Curaleaf "engages in the production and distribution of cannabis products" across North America.[1] The company is headquartered in Wakefield, Massachusetts, US.[1] The chairman is Boris Jordan.[2]

In May 2019, Curaleaf recorded the largest US cannabis sector acquisition with the purchase of cannabis oil manufacturer, Cura Partners, for about $950 million.[3]

In March 2020, Curaleaf acquired Colorado based edibles maker BlueKudu, which is known for its infused chocolates and gummies.[4] This move marks its first foray into the Colorado market.[4]
