Clyde Getty

Clyde Getty is an Argentine freestyle skier.[1]

Early life

Getty was born in the United States to Argentinian parents.[1]

Career

Although Clyde Getty qualified for the US team, he opted to join the Argentinian Olympic Ski Team instead, because of his lineage. Getty competed in the Torino Olympics Men's freestyle skiing[2] and was the oldest competitor at the event. Clyde Getty's last Olympics was in 2010. He was shortly on the roster for the 2014 Sochi Olympics, but was removed because The Argentinian Team hadn't signed up for the event.

In 1989 Getty became a member of the US Freestyle Skiing Team.

After finishing, Getty continued to manage his computer systems consulting business,[2] GettySystems.

Personal life

Getty earned his U.S. citizenship in 1989.
