Club Costa City

Club Costa City is a Spanish youth football club based in the town of Elche. The club was founded by professional footballers, brothers Aarón and Saúl Ñíguez, in 2020. It plans bring together a plethora of different teams within the entity, planning to recruit over 500 players of all ages.[1] On 31 May 2020, Ñíguez posted to Twitter with a picture depicting the words "New club, I'll announce it in 3 days..." accompanied by the caption "Os quería comunicar algo importante para mí," meaning "We wanted to communicate something important to you."[2] Although resulting in the transfer speculation of a move to Manchester United, on 3 June 2020, it was announced that this "new club" was a club that he and his brother were creating, not a transfer.[3]
