Claire Whichcord

Claire Louise Whichcord (born 9 December 1972, in Dover) is a former English cricketer who played for the England women's cricket team. [1] Whichcord played a one day international for England's national team against the Netherlands in July 1995, bowling 7 overs of right arm medium pace for 22 runs.[2] The match, part of the Women's European Cricket Championship, was played at College Park, Dublin.

Whichcord was born on 9 December 1972 in Dover, Kent. From 1990 to 1999, she played limited overs cricket for the Kent Women's cricket organization.[3] She played 20 list A one day matches in all, taking 31 wickets at 20 and scoring 366 runs at 30.5. Whichcord also played club cricket for Old Stacians in England's Southern Premier Cricket League.[4] Whichcord is the head of physical education department at Haverstock School in London.[5]
