Cimorelli

In 2007, the oldest five girls of the family launched Cimorelli as a vocal group. They recorded covers of charting songs and uploaded them to YouTube.

In 2008, the girls released their first EP. Each song was written by Christina and Lauren with the vocal harmonies arranged by Lisa.

In 2010, their youngest sister, Dani joined the band. The entire family of 11 children moved to Southern California so the girls could pursue their music career.[5] They signed with Universal, and released the CimFam EP in iTunes on December 6, 2011.[2] The EP features an original song and five covers.

In May 2012, Cimorelli won "The Bieber-Off", a contest by Ryan Seacrest where they covered Justin Bieber's hit "Boyfriend".[6] In July, they were nominated for "Choice Web Star" at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards.[7]

Cimorelli released the EP, Believe It on iTunes, Amazon and their title track's music video on their VEVO YouTube channel, on December 11.[8] The EP contains:[9]

A teaser trailer and sample of their EP was released on December 7.[10]

On June 18 Cimorelli released their fourth EP named "Made in America". It consisted of four songs which were all original – one of which was a studio version of their song "Wings".[11] The album debuted at No. 179 on the Billboard 200 chart,[12]

On May 4, 2014, Cimorelli performed at DigiFest in London. On June 7, 2014, Cimorelli performed at DigiFest NYC. On June 14, 2014, Cimorelli performed at DigiFest Toronto. In June 2014, Cimorelli launched a web series entitled "Summer with Cimorelli", which was sponsored by the restaurant franchise Subway. Cimorelli began releasing new music on June 5, 2014 with their first single from their upcoming EP/Album "What I Do". The second single "Everything You Have", also featured in the girls' web series, was released on June 9, 2014. On August 25, 2014, the girls released their third single "Come Over".

Cimorelli released their fifth EP, Renegade, on October 27, 2014.

Around May 2015, Cimorelli released a mixtape called Hearts on Fire with nine free songs in it. All of the songs were acoustically produced.

The group released their debut full-length album, Up at Night, on May 17, 2016.[13] It debuted at No. 24 on the Top Country Albums chart,[14] selling 1,500 copies in the first week in the U.S.[15] All songs are written and produced by Cimorelli.

They released a second full-length album, Alive, later that year on December 20, 2016.[16] All songs are written and produced by Cimorelli. The girls describe this album more as a worship album because most of the songs are Christian.

Their third album called Sad Girls Club came out October 27, 2017. This was the first, and till now only, album that included a solo song of each sister.

Their fourth album called I Love You or Whatever came out in Summer 2018. This was the first, and till now only, album that included a spoken word performance, one by Katherine, one by Amy and one by Dani.

Also in Summer 2018, Lisa, Amy and Dani appeared in a movie called Hope Springs Eternal.

At the end of 2018, both Lisa and Lauren announced solo projects. In November, Lisa released "Goodbye" and in December, Lauren released "Running".

Lisa and Lauren have since released further solo projects. Lisa’s include "Africa", "Italy", "I Don't Deserve It", "Unloved", "Florida" and "The Last Time" with Hudson Henry. Lauren’s include "Flames", "Brown Eyed Boys" and "Pressure".

Members are listed from oldest to youngest,[7] along with other tasks besides vocals.[3]
