Cielo rojo (song)

"Cielo rojo" (English: "Red Sky") is a huapango song written by Juan Záizar, a singer-songwriter from the Mexican state of Jalisco.[1] It was recorded by ranchera singer and actress Flor Silvestre in the late 1950s and became the breakthrough of her musical career.[2] She also sang it in the film El ciclón (1959). The song was re-recorded by Silvestre's granddaughter, Angela Aguilar and released on her 2nd studio album, Primero Soy Mexicana in 2018.
