Chlumetia is a genus of moths of the family Noctuidae.

Description

Palpi with second joint reaching vertex of head and thick scales, where the third joint short. Antennae of male bipectinated. Thorax smoothly scaled. Abdomen with dorsal tufts. Tibia moderately hairy. Forewings with hardly a trace of raised buttons of scaled. Veins 8 and 9 anastomosing to for a short areole. Hindwing with veins 3,4,5 arise from lower angle of cell.[1]
