Chitorri

Chittori is the historic ancestral graveyard of the Talpur Mirs of Mirpur Khas, Sindh. The sandstone tombs built by Talpur rulers over the graves of their elders are the finest examples of Sindh's architecture prevalent in 17th and 18th century.[1] The shrines combine elements of Islamic and native Rajasthani architecture.[2]

The graveyard is located in the Mirpur Khas district, about 22 kilometers northeast of Mirpur Khas town. Mir Masu Talpur was the first Talpur Mir to be buried there.
