Chhiplakot

Chhiplakot is a Himalayan mountain in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand,is located in Chhipla kedar mountain range India at an altitude of 3,890 metres (12,762 ft). Full of alpine flora and vegetation, Chhiplakot is famous for its lush green alpine meadow called Bugyal. Many small and big ponds calld "kund " are located nearby this place . kedar kund ,chhipla kund ,kakrol kund and patoj kund are some of popular ponds nearby chhipla kot . highest point of chhipla kedar range is about 4575m (15,010 ft) from sea level.local cave plays host to a tri-annual fair in winter. Local people worship God Chhipla here. Various peaks of Garhwal himalaya , Kumaon himalaya and Nepal Himalayas are also visible from this place.
