Chengdu University of Science and Technology

Chengdu University of Science and Technology(Chinese: 成都科技大学) was a university in Chengdu, China. This university was founded in 1952, separated from the Sichuan University. At that time, its name was Engineering Institute of Chengdu (simplified Chinese: 成都工学院; traditional Chinese: 成都工學院). It was one of the schools led by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 1978, this university was renamed to "Chengdu University of Science and Technology"(Chinese: 成都科技大学). In 1993, the Chengdu University of Science and Technology was merged with Sichuan University.[1]
