Chelsea Thomas

Chelsea Rae Thomas (born January 26, 1990)[1][2] is an American softball player. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, she attended Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, Iowa.[1]

At the University of Missouri, Thomas was a pitcher for the Missouri Tigers softball team from 2009 to 2013, earning a medical redshirt after a season-ending injury in 2010.[1] As a member of the United States women's national softball team she won 2011 World Cup of Softball.[3] In 2013, Thomas was named SEC pitcher of the year.[4] She currently plays professional softball for the USSSA Pride in the National Pro Fastpitch league.

Thomas completed her B.S. in biology in fall 2012[5] and M.Ed. in counseling in fall 2013 at Missouri.[2]
