Chaudhry Akhtar Ali Khan

Chaudhry Rana Akhtar Ali Khan is a Pakistani politician who was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, from July 2015 to May 2018.

Early life and education

He was born on 1 April 1957.[1]

He graduated in 1978 from University of the Punjab.[1]

Political career

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N) from Constituency PP-100 (Gujranwala-X) in by-polls held in July 2015.[2][3]

He was re-elected to Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of PML-N from Constituency PP-61 (Gujranwala-XI) in 2018 Pakistani general election.[4]

His brother, Rana Shamshad served as minister for transport and excise from 2002-2008. Akhter Ali khan's father served as Independent member of Parliament before joining PMLN in 1988.
