Early life
Charles Vallin was born on July 3, 1903 in Saint-Mihiel, Meuse, France.[1][2]
Career
He joined the Croix-de-Feu and later, the French Social Party, a conservative political party.[1] He served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from November 6, 1938 to May 31, 1942.[2]
He later joined the French Resistance and became close to General Charles De Gaulle.[1]
Legacy
The Place Charles Vallin in the 15th arrondissement of Paris is named in his honour.
