Chadrack Lufile

Chadrack ( CJ ) Lufile 6”10” Professional Basketball Player born September 11, 1990) is a Canadian professional basketball player who is currently a member of the Estudiantes Concordia Basquet Club in Argentina La Liga de Basquet.

Lufile played on the 2013 Wichita State team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament's Final Four and the 2013-14 team that went 35-0 (18-0 Missouri Valley Conference) and earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament before losing to Kentucky.

He started 11 games and played in all 36 as a senior, averaging 5.9 points and 5.0 rebounds. He scored a career-high 14 points in a win over Oral Roberts and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds against Indiana State.

Lufile played one of his best games as a Shocker in one of the 2014 season's most important games[1]. He started and scored 12 points (making 5 of 7 shots) in a 70-65 win at Saint Louis, while also totaling eight rebounds. Saint Louis won the Atlantic-10 title and earned a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

In 2013 Bleacher Report named him one of the top underrated players[2] in college basketball.

In 2014, Lufile was selected in the third round of the NBA Development League draft by Sioux Falls.

Lufile grew up playing soccer. He learned basketball at Burlington's Assumption High and grew into a prominent recruit.He earned MVP honors at three prep tournaments.
