Chaar Choughi
Char Chaughi was an Indian soap opera aired on Marathi channel STAR Pravah between 2009– 11.
Plot
Char Choughi is the story of four sisters: Iravati, Gargi, Devika, and Bilwa. After their parents' death, Iravati, the elder sister, takes all the responsibility of her sisters and her father's business.
Meanwhile, Devika gets an offer to work as a secretary of business tycoon Yashwant Sarnaik; further she meets Yashwant Sarnaik's younger son Akshay, and then both fall in love. Iravati is against Devika's job and her love as in the past, Gargi's affair with Shantanu Sarnaik (elder son of Yashwant Sarnaik) had turned messy after him having refused to accept being the father of the pregnant Gargi's child. Shantanu is forced to get married with another girl but then she dies because of cancer. After all ups and down Akshay and Devika get married. Further Devika attempts to solve the family's problems. Later, Shantanu marries Gargi. Char Chaughi is the story of a woman's struggle to keep her family together, her dreams alive, and getting settled in life amidst all adversity.
