History

Dillard's opened at the mall on August 9, 1978.[2] The mall was built by Texarkana developers Warmack and Company, who sold it in 2004.[3]

Dillard's expanded its store in 2016.[4] Sears, an original tenant, closed in 2018. The same year, the mall was put up for auction.[5] Bealls, also an original tenant, was renamed Gordmans a year later.[6] In May 2020, it was announced that all Gordmans locations would be liquidated due to the parent company filing for bankruptcy, unless buyer for the chain can be found.
