History

During 2009, Cellucor launches in GNC.[1]

During 2011, Cellucor launched their first C4 pre-workout: C4 Extreme. This launch also sparked the 3rd Generation "Chrome Series", a first-of-its-kind premium packaging that continues to stand out against present-day competitors, and several key domestic and international distributorships.

During 2012, Cellucor announced that it would release a number of new supplements. These included a thermogenic, Super-HD, and a weight loss supplement, CLK. The brand also unveiled its COR-Performance Series in 2012. The COR-Performance Series includes ingredients like branched chain amino acids, creatine, and protein.[2]

During 2013, Cellucor had several product launches including the re-launch of its mass building supplement M5 Extreme, called M5 Reloaded.[3] Cellucor also re-launched its anabolic supplement, P6 Black, a re-formulation of the original.[4] The brand released Alpha Amino in late 2013, packed with amino acids designed to fight muscle breakdown during recovery.[5]

In late 2014, Cellucor launched the 4th Generation "G4 Series" with tweaked formulas of pre-workouts, amino acids, nitric oxide boosters, ready-to-drink beverages, testosterone boosters, and weight loss supplements. The product list included C4 Original, Alpha Amino, NO3, P6, and SuperHD.[6] At the same time, the brand launched C4 Mass, C4 Ripped, C4 50x, and C4 RTD.[7]

In the next few years, C4 would expand into Costco, Target, and Walmart with innovation like C4 Sport, proudly displaying the NSF certification known and trusted by athletes of all ages.

During 2016, Cellucor launched its most transparent and complete pre-workout to date: C4 Ultimate. This product was part of an all-new lineup called the C4 iD Series.[8]

Building on its reputation of explosive energy, focus, and endurance, Cellucor launched its first on-the-go carbonated pre-workout energy drink in 2018 called C4 On The Go Carbonated.[9] This refreshing and convenient format has matured into a better-for-you performance energy drink for athletes of all levels and goals.
