Cecily Nicholson

Cecily Nicholson is a Canadian poet,[1] who won the Governor General's Award for English-language poetry at the 2018 Governor General's Awards for her poetry book Wayside Sang.[2]

She previously published the collections Triage (2011) and From the Poplars (2014),[1] and won the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize in 2015 for the latter book.[3]

Originally from Ontario, she is currently based in Burnaby, British Columbia, where she works in gallery management.[4]
