Carter Milliken Reum

Carter Milliken Reum (born February 5, 1981) is an author and entrepreneur.[1][2] Along with his brother, Courtney Reum, he co-founded and built VEEV Spirits,[3][4][5] a company listed in Inc. Magazine’s 500 fasting growing private companies in America.[6] He is mentioned in Richard Branson’s best selling book Screw Business As Usual. Carter was featured in episodes of the television series Hatched and has appeared as a guest and a commentator on a variety of networks including CBS and FOX. He is a contributing writer for Huffington Post and Inc. Magazine. He is the co-founder of the investment firm M13.[7][8][9]

In 2018 Random House imprint Penguin Books released Carter’s first book, a co-authorship with his brother Courtney. Entitled Shortcut Your Startup: Ten Ways to Speed Up Entrepreneurial Success.[10][11] The book uses the Reum’s professional accomplishments and experiences to teach entrepreneurs how to reach their goals.[12] They pull from their experiences creating Veev and from the lessons learned through the years investing in companies like SpaceX, Lyft, Pinterest and Warby Parker.[13][14][15][16]

Personal Life

Reum graduated from Columbia College in 2003 as did his brother.[17]He has been in a relationship with socialite and heiress Paris Hilton.[18]
