Caroline D'Amore

Caroline D'Amore (born June 9, 1984) is an American DJ, actress, songwriter, chef and former model[1] known for her single "Music Man," featuring DJ StoneBridge. She is also the head chef and co-owner of D’Amores Pizza, which was founded by her parents.[2]

D'Amore hosts the EDM radio show Heartbeatz on Dash Radio and produces a web series entitled DJ Diaries with Caroline D'Amore that explores the lives of D'Amore and other DJs.[3]

Early life

D'Amore was born in Los Angeles, California, to Joe D'Amore and Bonnie Major. Her parents are the founders of D'Amore's Pizza Connection.[4] She moved to New York City at the age of seventeen to pursue a modeling career.

Career

D'Amore launched her career by opening for will.i.am at the MTV Music Awards in Japan. She has since performed around the world and been featured as an artist-in-residence at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.

D'Amore has appeared on the cover or on the pages of Teen Vogue, Santa Barbara Magazine, Seventeen, Cosmo Girl, Flaunt and Nylon. She has worked with designers Heatherette, Stella McCartney, Diane von Fürstenberg and Agent Provocateur.

D'Amore appeared on the second season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its spin-off series Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami.[4] She portrayed Brooke on the HBO series Entourage in season five.[4]

She played Maggie, younger sister of Audrina Patridge's character Megan, in the 2009 horror film Sorority Row and subsequently appeared in the music video for the promotional track "Get U Home" by Shwayze. She played Adriana in the 2009 comedy film Frat Party.[4] In 2014, she appeared as the DJ in the music video for Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's song “Bang Bang”.[5]

Personal life

In August 2012, she married Bobby Alt. On April 30, 2015, she gave birth to a daughter, Isabella Viking Alt.[1]
