Calvary Temple

Calvary Temple is a Bible-based independent megachurch in Hyderabad, India. It has 300,000 members in 2019.[1] The founder and pastor of this church is Dr. P. Satish Kumar.

History

According to Satish Kumar, God directly told him to build the Calvary Temple, starting in 2005. The Calvary Temple was erected on 5 June 2005 with 25 followers. It is also said that, as God promised, it grew rapidly.[2] In 2006, it had 1,000 members. By 2007, that had grown to 3,000 members. In 2010, they had 30,000 members.[3]

By 2019, the Church had 300,000 attendees[4].[5]

Calvary Temple

In 2012, the Church began construction of an 18,000 seat hall in Hyderabad, Telangana. The venue opened on 1 January 2013.[6]

Calvary Bible College

Calvary Bible College provides theological education. It is located on church premises.This Bible College aim to make more deciples to preach the Gospel as the Great Commission of Christ Says to Proclaim the Gospel throughout the world [7]
