Calicut Heroes
Calicut Heroes is a men's volleyball team from Kozhikode, Kerala playing in the Pro Volleyball League in India.[3] In mid-2018,Volleyball Federation of India along with Baseline Ventures, India invited bids for franchisees based in Indian cities for Pro Volleyball League. The league was given the go-ahead by FIVB. Beacon Sports won the bid for the Calicut franchisee in the Pro Volleyball League.[4] The Calicut Heroes team is being led by team captain Jerome Vinith and coached by Sajjad Hussain Malik. The team comprises 16 members.The team comprises four attackers, three blockers two setters, one libero and a couple of universals. This is their inaugural season in Pro Volleyball League, India.
