History

Pasaquina came to close winning promotion to the primera division in 1996, however they lost a round robin tournament to Chalatenango and Metapan.

Supporters group of Pasaquina F.C. at the Estadio San Sebastian.

The club won the 2013 Apertura and after failing to win 2014 Clausura title it meant the club were forced to play in promotion play-off against Once Lobos over two Legs, which Pasaquina won 2–1 allowing the club to gain promotion to the Primera División for the first time in their history .

On 3 of July, 2019 Pasaquina failed to meet the requirements that FESFUT had placed for clubs to be allowed to play in the Primera division, the club failed to pay off any outstanding debts. The club will be forced to sell their spot in Primera division.

Crest and shirt

Since their inception, Pasaquina have played in a color scheme featuring blue and yellow as dominant colors, usually with white highlights. The original Pasaquina logo featured a stylized donkey and a soccer ball inside a shield with yellow and blue colours.

The team rebranded again on July 3, 2014 to a new crest and kit. While still featuring yellow and blue, the new design replaces the ball and donkey with stars, giving the crest a cleaner look.

Stadium

Pasaquina currently plays its home games at Estadio Marcelino Imbers in La Union, due to low attendance and meeting the Primera division new footballing standards. Pasaquina previously played its home games at Estadio San Sebastián in Pasaquina. The Estadio San Sebastian is a 5,000-seat soccer-specific stadium. Pasaquina have occasionally held home games at Estadio Jose Ramon Flores in Santa Rosa de Lima.
