Background

The direct background of Bundang's development was excessive concentration in Seoul in the late 1980s and soaring housing prices.

The political and social factors of the middle class also played an important role. Therefore, the development of the new city in Bundang started with the dual purpose of expanding housing supply and fostering the middle class.[1]

Tancheon

Tancheon is a stream flowing through the central part of Seongnam city in Gyeonggi-do.[2] Tancheon is a tributary of the Han River, which is also called 'in-charcoal'.[3] Tancheon is a semi-riot river with an area of 302 km2 and a total length of 35.6 km.[4] Seongnam city is located in the central part of the city of Tancheon and is under development of Tancheon, which is 25 km long flowing through the center of the city.[5] The water quality of Tancheon deteriorated sharply due to the large amount of domestic sewage and soil from the construction site due to the unexplored development of Yongin that started from the late 1990s.[6] Recently, Seongnam City and Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province have been carrying out ecological river restoration projects, and the surrounding landscape and water quality of Tancheon are gradually improving.[7]

Traffic development

In the future, it will be possible to use the new district election directly at the Munggum Station (Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do), where only the existing Bundang Line has passed.[8] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on July 24 that it completed the construction of the Shinbun-dong subway station, which was commenced in December 2012.[9] The munjem station is located between Sinbun Dynasty and Jeongja Station and Dongcheon Station.[10] Currently, it is used only as a stopping station for Bundang Line, but it is reborn as a new history that can be used for Shinbang Dynasty and Bundang Line.[11] It takes 19 minutes to Gangnam Station and 17 minutes to Gwanggyo Station.[12] Compared with the bus, the travel time is reduced by up to 25 minutes for Gangnam area and 30 minutes for Gwanggyo area.[13] Due to the development of Bundang traffic, the price of apartments in Bundang has also increased tremendously. Bundang New City is the first city in the metropolitan area and its demand is steady because it has excellent accessibility to Seoul.[14] Among them, the town of Magpie has an additional public transportation network, with the addition of a new municipal election system last year. Among the various complexes in the town of Magchiki, the magpie apartment is popular as an apartment with excellent accessibility to public transportation, educational facilities and living facilities.[15] Magpie Shinwon is a subway station located within a 10-minute walk from Bundang Line and Shinbun-dong Mugong Station.[16] It is convenient to use the subway. In case of Shinbun Dynasty, it is easy to access to Gangnam Business District and Pangyo Techno Valley business district, so workers prefer it.[17] There are a variety of public, direct, wide-area, and village bus routes at nearby bus stops, sharing a rich public[18] transportation network. When driving, it is easy to get in and out of Yongin Seoul Expressway, Gyeongbu Expressway, and Bundang-Suseo Intercity Expressway so it can be moved quickly to Seoul and nearby city center.[19]
