Bruna Rubio

Bruna Rubio (born November 19, 1981) is a Spanish actress, television host, and producer. She is best known for her roles in Spanish television shows, such as Cruz y Raya (TVE1), and her roles in the American movies The House and Barry Munday.

Early life

Rubio was born in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, Spain. She started her acting career when she was 5 years old, by doing commercials like Nestle. At the age of 18 she worked for Spanish television shows like Cruz y Raya, Espejo secreto, Al salir de clase, as well as campaigns for Pepsi, Vips, etc.[1][2]

Career

Rubio began her TV host career in Los Angeles with the TV show A que no puedes? Estrella TV and Rodando Rodando with Mari Cielo Pajares. Followed shortly by an appearance on the Telemundo telenovela La Ley del Silencio. These led to her first film offers, several small roles on movies like Out of blood, the night crew, and TV shows like Sleeper Cell.[3][4] At the age of 20 Rubio moved to Miami and Los Angeles where she started her American acting career playing on movies like Dracula's curse, The Butcher, Barry Munday, among others. Rubio has also acted in the comedy The House with Will Ferrell and the TV series I'm Dying Up Here.[5][6]
