Until March 2020, He had been the Director of the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), the agency that produces official gross domestic product and related statistics. He had been at that agency since 1993,[2] and worked on issues such as measures of intangible goods and the use of price indexes for statistics on industry output.[3]
Moyer received a bachelor's and master's degrees in economics from the University of Maryland and a Ph.D. in economics in 2002 from American University.[3][4][5][6]
