Bossou Ashadeh

Bossou Ashadeh is a loa, the spirit of the deceased Dahomean King Tegbessou in Vodou, and especially in Haiti.[1]

As the Petro manifestation, Bossou is often depicted as a horned bull.


loa (ou famille de loas) puissant et agressif, esprit "taureau" (représenté avec des cornes); dieu de la foudre (cf. Sogbo); [nom pouvant provenir de Besu, vodoun du tonnerre au Bénin, ou de bossum, désignation générique des divinités en pays.
