Black-crested coquette

The black-crested coquette (Lophornis helenae) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, and heavily degraded former forest.
