Billy Howden
William Howden (11 November 1879 – 27 January 1937) was a Scottish footballer, who played as a goalkeeper.

Career
Howden played club football for Rutherglen Glencairn, Rangers, Partick Thistle and Abercorn.
He was capped for Scotland once, playing in a 4–0 win against Ireland in 1905.[4]
Personal life
Howden was born at Dovecotehill, Barrhead, Renfrewshire on 11 November 1879 - the second of the eight children of David Howden and Ann Weir. He emigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1924, where he died on 27 January 1937. He was survived by his wife, Catherine and daughter, Margaret and has living descendants throughout Ontario. His great nephew lives in Glasgow, Scotland.
