Bhagirathi Mali

The Bhagirathi Saini claim to be descendants of the Ikshvaku dynasty king Sagara and the Suryavansha king Bhagiratha, whom the community is named after. They adopted the Saini surname in 1941. They used to do business of growing vegetables in their fields .[1] Mali and Bhagirathi Saini are two different caste. They are not same .
