Beyond (Singaporean TV series)

Meichen disappears on Jiang Wei's wedding day. Jiang Wei receives a phone call, and searches for her, only to find a wedding veil left on the roadside near the church where the wedding is supposed to be held. He realized that she went off without a trace, and Jiang Wei was heartbroken.

Jiang Wei remains heartbroken ever since that day three years ago, and is seen conversing to himself as the episode opens. He now stays in a HDB flat which looks as though he had just came in, even though he moved a year ago. Yang Zhiqing and her mother, Zhang Cuiyan, run a fried beehoon stall at a coffeeshop. Jiang Wei patronises the stall. When he sees his mother, Pan Baozhu, he hides, and did not collect his food. Zhiqing runs after Jiang Wei with the food. Outside the flat, a resident dries his laundry upstairs, Zhiqing tries to move back as the water drops on her spectacles, and falls after bumping Jiang Wei holding on to "Missing" fliers of Meichen. Her spectacles fall off her face. Zhiqing has a paranormal ability to see into other people's inner souls. While she retrieves her spectacles, she sees Jiang Wei morph into a filthy and gloomy vagrant in front of her, talking backwards ("吧事没你?", meaning "Are you OK?" backwards). She concludes that he was running away from reality. The vagrant saves Zhiqing from being crushed by the impact of the body falling from the roof. Before Zhiqing wears back her spectacles, she stole one more look at the vagrant. Police officer Qiu Hanxiang turns up at the scene, and finds shopping coupons from 10 years ago on the female corpse. Coffee shop tenant Dong-shu and his wife are very strict with their son, Weijian, and sends him to his tuition and piano lessons. As Weijian drags his feet for his lesson, Zhiqing removes her glasses, and sees Weijian with a huge scholar hat being handcuffed and walks with metal balls attached to his feet. She analyses that he is suffering, but has no idea how she can help. Zhiqing delivers food to the mental asylum and sees psychiatrist Xu Wenbin calming an agitated patient down. She tells him about Jiang Wei, and he gathers that Jiang Wei must have a sad past. Meanwhile, Cuiyan wants Jiang Wei to help her find her missing husband but can’t afford his fee. The deceased was later identified to be Huang Lifang, who has been missing for 10 years. The day she went missing, she was on the way to the supermarket to use the coupons. As Lifang’s looks remain unchanged, no one can explain what happened. Hanxiang and Jiang Wei checked for any clues three days before she entered the lift, but were unavailable. Jiang Wei later suspect that Meichen may have disappeared and her age may have been frozen. Dong-sao rushed to the coffee shop, telling everyone that Weijian went missing as she brought him home. Zhiqing seeks the help of Jiang Wei to find Weijian, after she failed to find him the night before, when Wenbin consoles Zhiqing and tells her that even if she can see other people’s inner world, whatever happens to them has nothing to do with her.

Five years ago, Zhiqing wakes up to find herself confined in a room of a mental asylum. Wenbin enters the room. As Zhiqing opens her eyes, she became petrified at the first sight of him...

Zhiqing and Jiang Wei went to search Weijian. As she sees a student's back who looks like Weijian's, she chases him, only to break her spectacles in a near accident. Zhiqing tells Jiang Wei that she can see other people’s inner worlds and had been sent to a mental asylum before. He presumes she has hallucinations. She surprises him when she describes exactly how he feels. Wenbin takes Zhiqing to get a new pair of spectacles made. She is grateful to him, and remembers how he had helped her when she was in the mental asylum. Cuiyan complains about the noise from upstairs, only to learn that her neighbor is overseas, and fear grips her. Jiang Wei, Zhiqing and Hanxiang check the CCTV footage of the lift on the day Weijian went missing. Weijian walks out of the lift on the 13th floor, whereas another passenger in the CCTV footage of the void deck of the 13th floor, enters the lift but did not meet Weijian. Jiang Wei links the disappearance to Lifang’s case. Zhiqing takes the lift repeatedly, hoping to find clues to Weijian’s disappearance. The neighbours presume she has gone mad again. The lift malfunctions and needs to be repaired. Zhiqing goes missing near the 13th floor as well. Zhiqing enters the 13.5th storey and finds Weijian there. She finds herself in vibrating and extending corridors, and the scenery was as if it was watery. In an open space, she finds a student playing marbles, a lady "playing mahjong", and a man who seems to be "singing in a concert". In order to locate Zhiqing, Jiang Wei, Wenbin and Cuiyan studies the CCTV footage of the lift when Zhiqing disappeared. He concludes that Zhiqing, Weijian and Lifang ended up into another dimension at 13:13 (1.13pm) in the afternoon on the 13th floor, and these disappearances have something to do with the number 13. Meanwhile, Cuiyan hires a priest to conduct rites. The priest is a quack, and Jiang Wei exposes him and chases him away.

Jiang Wei wakes up in a hospital, and the first thing that came to his mind is a baby which he saved from an abduction case. Worried about her, he dashes out of his ward and gets stopped by Meichen and the nurses. They send him to the ward where the baby was taken care of. Jiang Wei faints after falling from the drain earlier on, while still holding on to the baby in his hands. They would not have been found if water in the drain washes them away. Jiang Wei passes out again. Meichen sees him as a hero in her heart since that day.

The episode starts with the lift opening its doors in the 13th floor. Jiang Wei summarized that the number 13 is the clue to saving Zhiqing and Weijian. Jiang Wei calls Hanxiang to say he is going to enter into another dimension. Wenbin remembers that he had once played a song in the guitar for Zhiqing to celebrate he release from hospital. Guessing that the noise Cuiyan had heard was from the other dimension, he tries to use music to lure Zhiqing back. Zhiqing sees the ground at the open space vibrating due to the sound, but she could not be heard back at home. The sound was cut at 1.13pm, when Jiang Wei enters to the 13.5th floor. He runs out when he sees Weijian scooting away, but gets thrown into another reality, at a lobby of a condominium. There, he reunites with Meichen. Zhiqing sees Jiang Wei slowly moving to "Meichen's apartment", and suddenly appears, trying to get him out. All she can see is a dilapidated place, and Jiang Wei seems to be talking and holding to the air. Jiang Wei chases her out. Zhiqing finds Weijian facing the television, seemingly "playing an Xbox game", and she does not see the "fridge" he points out. Zhiqing tries to make Jiang Wei wake up from his dream, but gets chased out again, even though Meichen does not answer her parents' birthday dates. She does so the second time, telling him to close his eyes as he hugs Meichen. Meichen reappears after he closed his eyes for the first time. Meichen and everything dissolves for the second time, and he realized that everything is a figment of imagination when he is unable to find her. In this dimension, time is frozen and people are stuck in their own fantasies. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing runs down the stairs and finds themselves reappearing back at the top of the stairs. No one resides there in this story. Zhiqing She realizes that when she chased after Weijian after entering the dimension, she tumbled and drops her glasses, and therefore does not have any illusions due to the function of her glasses, And only she can see the truth. After a few hours, they hear Wenbin's music and stomp their feet to let the others know they are there. The music cuts again. As they went back to the lifts, they found the other slipper Lifang wore when she fell down, and thus the place where they could escape from the dimension.

Cuiyan hides Zhiqing from by the police. Four police officers eventually find them hiding amongst the boxes and two of them carries Zhiqing away. As Zhiqing opens her eyes, she sees her mother morph back into the same clown figure, letting go of the two other police officers away and standing there, sobbing away.

Jiang Wei and Zhiqing thought of what could have happened before Liang Lifang fell down from this dimension. She could have entered into an illusion for 10 years, before waking up to find herself trapped in the reality. Anxiety gripped her, and she jumped off the building when she could hold it no longer. Jiang Wei sends a message to Hanxiang using Zhiqing's mobile phone and dropping it down. Hanxiang gets the message and gets the help of some officers to erect an air mattress to save Jiang Wei. With no more chips or water left, Jiang Wei sees Meichen on the other side, giving her hand to him, but gets pulled back by Zhiqing. He later decides to jump down from the building, rather than die in the dimension, though Zhiqing holds him back so that he could continue to find Meichen. Two days later Wenbin continues to use his guitar to communicate with Zhiqing, but only Weijian made it back. His restless parents, who were traumatised by his disappearance, tells him that they would not force him to score the best grades. He recounts to Wenbin about his imagination, and how he gets rescued by Zhiqing. Wenbin reveals to Jiang Wei about Zhiqing's paranormal ability to see other people's inner souls. The first person she sees was her mother in a purple dress with yellow polka-dots; white circles around her eyes and messy hair, who later declines wearing these. As she walks out of the house, she was surrounded by people of all sorts, from acrobats to traditional costume dressers and even invisible men. At first, she was fascinated but later became terrified. As she dashes to the coffee shop, she became more and more frightened by the things she sees and hides behind her mother, who was weeping away. Therefore, other people find her weird as she became mentally ill, and was admitted to the mental hospital. Wenbin studied her case and realised her ability is a form of extra-sensory perception. Wenbin then bought her a pair of glasses which helps Zhiqing to block out the visions she sees. As she puts off her glasses, she immediately puts them on again. Wenbin thus suggests her to close her eyes when she is not wearing the glasses. Jiang Wei and Wenbin made a pact to enter the 13.5th floor again. As they returned to the scene, Zhiqing's spectacles dropped close to Jiang Wei and realises that she is going to land away from the mattress. Hanxiang gets his men to move the mattress where Zhiqing would fall. Zhiqing jumps off the building and finally lands on the mattress, saddened that she could not help the other three trapped people who ignores her, back to reality. Jiang Wei makes Zhiqing understand that she has a special gift and should not be afraid of it. In turn, she promises to help him find Meichen. Wenbin later tells Zhiqing that her mother tries not to speak ill of other people and make them happy, but behind these, she is still in sorrow. Meanwhile, Hanxiang takes Jiang Wei home, but the latter lacks the courage to see his family, while his father, Jiang Han, is livid as he has been neglecting them the past three years.

Chen Dayu stands at the roof of the building. He tries to jump down but lacks the courage to do so. Ye Rongguang joins him and starts to jump, but he is held back by Dayu. That night, both of them sat down at the ground floor balcony and they conversed to each other about their lives. The 55-year-old is a failure and is only a minor role in his family and work. Tired of his life, he tried to jump off the building earlier on. Rongguang is also sick of his life and wanted to jump off the building. He is giving Dayu a chance to grow younger again. Dayu thought Rongguang is ridiculous until he claims that he is 176 years old...

The episode opens as Dayu looks at the mirror in another normal day. His hair gets lesser as the days pass, and he does little in the household. He patronizes the bee hoon stall, and proclaims to Cuiyan about the unfair world that everyone lives. Meanwhile, Jiang Wei tells Zhiqing that she could not be of much help to him, and relates them to the eagle and chicken. Rongguang's body is found. Jiang Wei remembers that three years ago, Rongguang was held captive by a man named Wu Jiaqing. He and Hanxiang saved Rongguang. Jiaqing accused Rongguang of killing his wife, Yali, but Rongguang denies it. Jiaqing claims that Rongguang is not human but an immortal freak, however, Jiaqing was mentally unstable and his sentences were incoherent. There was nothing the police could do and therefore, he was sent to the mental institute. Though Rongguang looks like he is in his 70s when he died, his identity card indicates that he is only 31. There are also cases of rapid aging in Southeast Asia as well, but scientific research could not conclude the reason behind it. Hanxiang and Jiang Wei could not understand how he could have aged so qiuckly, and if these immortal freaks do exist. These sentiments were echoed by Dayu at the same time. His colleague and leader of Team B, Shijie, is an outstanding salesman. When Shijie celebrates his success in clinching new clients through the harness of the Internet, Team A leader Dayu is envious and tells his colleagues to be more creative. A female celebrity falls ill after taking health supplements from the company Dayu works for. Dayu and Shijie's superior, Marcus, blames Dayu, before the latter realized that he forgot to send his two children home from school. Aggrieved, Dayu pleaded Marcus not to fire him. The next day, everyone finds that Dayu looks much younger, while Marcus seemed to age overnight and even collapses when he made his way to his room. The turn of events shocked Shijie and his colleagues. Dayu resigns, not before telling his boss that he will get his retribution. He finds Shijie following suit. Shijie already knew about Dayu's secret to his youth as he overheard Dayu and Marcus' conversation the previous day, and saw Dayu grabbing firmly Marcus' hand. He offers to help Dayu make money if he reveals how his secret. Meanwhile, Jiang Wei and Wenbin find Zhiqing volunteering to give bee hoon to the patients in the mental institute. From Zhiqing, Jiang Wei knew how to make Jiaqing believe him by believing Jiaqing first. Jiaqing shares his secret to him, telling him that he is not mentally ill and he chose to stay at the institute to stay away from these immortal freaks. He later divulges to Zhiqing clues in finding out if the person next to her is an immortal freak, which she later shares to Jiang Wei as Jiaqing hastily walks away when he sees him. She asked herself if it is possible for them to steal youth. Jiang Wei actually had a thought to say, but suddenly holds it and the episode closes as they leave the institute.

The beginning of the episode goes back to the night Rongguang and Dayu met, where he imparts his power of immortality to Dayu. He tells him that with that ability, he would need to steal other people's age so as to avoid growing four times faster. They try at a security guard at the building, but Dayu lacks the courage to do so. Dayu never met Rongguang again since that day.

The episode opens with Dayu looking at the mirror one morning to find himself looking much youthful and hair much blacker. Meanwhile, Zhiqing convinces Jiang Wei to join his private investigator firm as his assistant. Jiang Wei tells her that everyone has a purpose in their life. She is envious that he knows exactly what his life goal is, but Jiang Wei is certain her ability to see a person’s inner mind must be related to the role she has to play in life. Meanwhile, Dayu turns arrogant after becoming younger, and brags to everyone at the coffee shop about opening a company to help others regain their youth as well. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing investigate Rongguang’s rapid aging. Hanxiang tells them two more patients have the same condition; they are Dayu’s boss and Marcus. As Rongguang is dead, there must be another person with the same ability. Jiang Wei even suspects that the case is related to Meichen, as she was in charge of Rongguang while he was hospitalized, and even had mood swings before their wedding day. Jiang Wei scolds Zhiqing for agreeing to help a lady, Li Zhenwei look for her "son", Shijie, however, they link her case as rapid ageing. Zhiqing and Jiang Wei linked Dayu to the case, as he became younger at the same pace as his boss and Marcus aged. Meanwhile, Shijie and Dayu earned lots of money from the rich in their partnership. Dayu went drunk when both of them had drinks in a bar, and stole the youth of a woman there. He walks out of the condominium and gets asked by Jiang Wei and Zhiqing about Rongguang's whereabouts. When Jiang Wei gets Zhiqing to see Dayu inner soul, Zhiqing sees him turns into a naked man with greyish hair and greyish beard. Both of them follow Dayu and Shijie and discovers that they are running a business where rich old men could turn younger overnight, as Dayu could steal people's youth and give them as well. Shijie denies Zhenwei is his mother. However, he takes Dayu to the hospital, in the hope that Dayu can help Zhenwei regain her youth. When Zhiqing suddenly barges in the room, Shijie knocks her out and asks Dayu to use her for the swap...

The episode starts in the ancient Chinese era, in a forested area. An attacker suddenly attacks Rongguang's master in a conflict. They settle where no one could find them. Rongguang's master tells him about the secret to immortality that was found by Qu Fu from the Qin dynasty. He imparts the power of immortality to Rongguang, as he is his last surviving disciple, and knowing that when Rongguang imparts this power to the next generation, they would not use this power to do evil means.

Zhiqing comes round and remembers Dayu had wanted to steal her youth. She is worried that Dayu had stolen her age, but is relieved to know that she is still youthful. Zhenwei regains her youth. In fact, she is Shijie’s girlfriend, who had given up her youth to help him repay her debts from a loan shark. He had vowed to earn money to help her redeem back her youth. She was hospitalised when she fell ill trying to look for him. However, unlike most other victims of rapid ageing, Zhenwei managed to stay on for a year. Meanwhile, Dayu comes round and finds himself being kidnapped by Shijie, who threatened to break his legs if he refuses to impart the power of immortality to him. Dayu tricks Shijie into releasing him. Both of them went into a tussle, and Shijie was knocked out by Dayu, who steals his youth much more rapidly. The police find a dying Shijie. Before breathing his last, Shijie apologises to Zhenwei. Dayu finds himself turn into a child and with only his shirt on after stealing too much youth from Shijie, and gets kidnapped by an illegal worker. Hanxiang finds Dayu’s pants and suspects the latter has turned into a child, and informs Jiang Wei immediately. Zhiqing worries when she discovers that she begin to age. Jiang Wei discovers that Dayu's pants had become too large for him, and speculates he might have turned into a child. He promises to find Dayu and help her regain her youth. Jiang Wei follows Xiuli and her two children to the church where Jiang Wei and Meichen was being held. He finds a bouquet of flowers at the place Meichen went missing, and desperately finds the person who placed these flowers. Upon discovering that it was his mother, he hides as he lacks the courage to face her. The illegal worker wants Dayu to call his parents for a ransom. Dayu calls his wife, Xiuli, who at first thought it was a prank. However, Xiuli tells Jiang Wei about it. Dayu returns to the condominium and transfers some of his youth to a middle-aged housewife. Zhiqing recounts Jiang Wei's words and learns that she should not be too terrified to see other people's inner souls, but worries that she had not accomplished what she had to do. Jiang Wei appears behind she and Wenbin as they watch the sun set.

Zhiqing reads her book of inner souls she had drawn under a tree at the mental hospital when she was a patient in there. She wonders what happens to the leaves of the trees when they fall. Wenbin answers her that these leaves fall, possibly for new leaves to fall (a life cycle). When she asks, Wenbin tells her that he will leave no regrets if the last day of his life comes. They continue to sit down there as Zhiqing imagines fallen leaves of the tree yellow and dissolve as snowflakes, and everything turn into a land of snow.

Dayu become an adult again and, without his pants that night, he approaches Wantai. With Wantai’s help, Dayu gets a new image and returns home to Xiuli. She wants him to give in, and calls the police, but is stunned when Dayu throws her to the floor in anger. Jiang Wei takes Zhiqing, who now looks much older, to Dayu. Though Dayu felt sorry for her, he refuses to admit he has the ability to steal one’s youth. Jiang Wei knows Dayu refuses to help as that would be tantamount to admitting he had harmed all the earlier victims. Jiang Wei and Hanxiang question Dayu but he did not confess. Zhiqing goes to the mental asylum as usual to distribute beehoon. Wenbin helps her. Wu Jiaqing discovers she had aged and he speculates that an immortal freak stole her age. Wenbin performs his guitar for the patients. He reminds her to be wary of her weaker immune system, and tells her about a school contest he participated when he was 16 and won the champion. However, he dare not bring the trophy home as his parents wanted him to study classical music. They pass by the tree at the beginning of the episode. She tells him that if she only had one day left in her life, she would want to see snow. On Wantai's bodyguard's car, Dayu realized that he had aged again and tries to steal a passer-by's age. Jiang Wei approaches Dayu, pleading him to reflect upon his family and the victims of rapid ageing and save Zhiqing's life, but Dayu declines. Meanwhile, Jiang Wei sees Zhiqing distributing the missing flyers of Meichen, hoping that he would not be despondent anymore. Knowing her end is near, Zhiqing tries to spend more time with Cuiyan, and brought her went to the Singapore Flyer. Zhiqing asks her mother how she and her father end up together. Her mother almost aborted Zhiqing when she was expecting, but it was Heaven's will that stopped her from doing so. She is saddened knowing that her daughter is about to leave her. Zhiqing is moved when Jiang Wei and Wenbin brought her to Snow City to fulfil her wish the next day. The scene seemed to turn into Marina Bay in winter as Wenbin plays the guitar, while she expresses her love for Jiang Wei. Jiang Wei gets Xiuli to persuade Dayu to save Zhiqing, as she is about to die soon. Zhiqing does not mind her dying, but she faints. Hanxiang finally brought the now younger middle-aged housewife, and instructs Dayu to bring the housewife back her age and pass the age to Zhiqing. Dayu performs the swap, will Zhiqing survive?

Wenbin brings a bouquet of flowers to Zhiqing, but could not get over the memory of Zhiqing and Jiang Wei being together. Zhiqing thanks Wenbin for standing by her, while Wenbin tells her that he would not let her go again. Dayu who is back in his age again, settles in Malaysia. He accidentally drops his daughters' photo. A man picks it up, and suddenly grasps his hand tightly. The man was later revealed to be Jiaqing, who does this to get his revenge...

In the meantime, Jiang Wei asks his worried parents out, and apologizes to them. However, he does not wish come home yet. His father is infuriated that he could not let go of searching for Meichen and facing up to reality. Zhiqing comforts Jiang Wei.

In their teenage years, Cuiyan's boyfriend and classmate Yang Guoli are seen running from a gangster. They settle at a park where Guoli vows to take care of Cuiyan forever.

The vow by Guoli was echoed in Cuiyan's head one night, as the episode opens. Suddenly, she is startled to find her husband, Yang Guoli, suddenly reappear at home one night. Even though he has been missing for five years, he claims he did not go anywhere when asked by Cuiyan and Zhiqing and claims to have slept for one night. As he had no recollection in the past 5 years, Guoli did not know about the big casino in Singapore that has already been built, and is amazed. He rushes in. Zhiqing relates how Guoli had left home after chalking up a pile of debts from loan sharks five years ago. Jiang Wei suspects he pretended to lose his memory because he did not know how to face his wife and daughter, but Zhiqing knows his father is not the type to fabricate things. Jiang Wei tells Zhiqing that he dreamed of Meichen trying to tell him something, but they just looked at each other there. Thus, his eyes went red when he woke around that morning. Cuiyan recalls Guoli as a tall and handsome man in their school days. A gangster often harassed her, and Guoli saves her one day. After getting into a tussle, they run away from the gangster. Guoli even tell her his ambition as an investor, to give her lots of money so as to let her enjoy in their golden years. She expressed her hurt to Guoli who did not care for his daughter when he sent her to the mental hospital five years ago. That night, Cuiyan wakes Zhiqing up when she found out that he disappeared again. He returns after a while, sleepwalking and could not remember what happened to him when he was awakened. Zhiqing wakes up to brush her teeth the next day, realizing that her father is using the toilet as well. She sees him in a prisoner suit, numbered 8819, and holding a metal ball. Guoli told her about her maternal grandmother who has the same strange condition as herself, and he sent her to the mental hospital that day to prevent herself from committing suicide. Wenbin concludes that Guoli has lost part of his memory. Jiang Wei confirms from Hanxiang that Guoli had left the country five years ago and only returned two days ago. Guoli sleepwalks again, and Jiang Wei and Zhiqing follow him. In his sleepwalk, he leaves the house, picks up litter from a tree, and almost got into a fight with two young men walking out of a coffeeshop. He later awakes at a playground when Jiang Wei slaps him hard. Guoli wins the lottery, and was happy. However, he was dismayed when Zhiqing loses his winning lottery ticket, as he could have got $100,000 from his luck. He suddenly loses control that night, and thinks he is back in his dreams. He tells everyone that a place called "Kampong Mimpi" is the real world. He is sent to the mental hospital. Zhiqing realize that he is being locked up in his "real world", and he wanted to get out of his dreams. Just when everyone is worrying, Guoli tells Jiang Wei he met Shen Meichen in the "real world".

Guoli tries to escape from the seemingly endless forest. Suddenly, he tripped over a tree branch on the ground and hurts his head, knocking him unconscious. He wakes up to find three strange men looking at him. A little girl shows her mother to him, and they approach him...

Guoli tells Jiang Wei that like him, Meichen had left this "dream world" to return to the "real world". To find her, Jiang Wei decides to go to Kampong Mimpi, where Guoli claims to be the "real world". Zhiqing, Cuiyan and Wenbin tag along. Before leaving the house the previous day, Zhiqing learns why Jiang Wei chose to go there, and tells him if he could not find her, he will get more disappointed and despondent. In Malaysia, Guoli gets flustered in which direction leads to Kampong Mimpi at a junction in the forest, and blames Cuiyan for nagging at him. After hours of thinking, he made his decision. As the day is getting dark, the five of them had to spend the night in a dilapidated building. Zhiqing could not sleep that night and joins Jiang Wei who is manning the building, alternating shifts with Wenbin. She apologized to him for the previous day and support. The people around Jiang Wei advised him not to make futile attempts to search for her. However, he could not stop, with the hope that one day, he will find her. The next day, Guoli went missing, but Jiang Wei and the others manage to get to Kampong Mimpi by the car. The village has a strange aura and the villagers are unfriendly. Jiang Wei and the others see Guoli, who was running a nasi lemak stall and no longer remember them. He introduces them to his wife, Ba-mei, and daughter, Xiaomei. Cuiyan flares up, and Guoli regards her as a lunatic and chases her out. Zhiqing doubts that Guoli was missing for five years but miraculously has a seven-year-old daughter. Moreover, there was no reason for him to return to Singapore. Jiang Wei questions Guoli about him taking Cuiyan to the park and making the vow, and Meichen. He vaguely remembered memories of the vow, but claims that it was Ba-mei, but he declines knowing Meichen. He suspects someone has deliberately erased Guoli’s memories of the past. The four meet up to discuss, and questions about Guoli's return and the village itself. Village Chief Zhang Renchun, Ping’an and Jixiang introduce themselves, and accommodates Jiang Wei and the others for the night. Zhiqing could not find Jiang Wei, and she and Wenbin went to the park by the river. She expressed her feelings to Wenbin when Jiang Wei finds Meichen. Jiang Wei tries to find Meichen in the village, but concludes that she could not be found there. He sees the villagers paying their respects to the Sleepwalking God. Zhiqing joins him. When Jiang Wei sees the moon with a sinister smile, he told her that they must leave the village immediately. Cuiyan looked for Guoli for one last time, hoping to let him reflect on the distressful times when her daughter was sent to the mental hospital. Unbeknownst to him, he gets abducted away by Jiang Wei and the others. As they left Kampong Mimpi, they found themselves driving around the same bend. Suddenly, the village men, together with Ba-mei, appear, capturing Wenbin and Cuiyan. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing managed to escape from the clutches of the men, but Jiang Wei found himself weaken when he heard the phrase, "devils from the dream". Jiang Wei asks Zhiqing to take off her spectacles. She hears Jiang Wei's voice but could not find him in the inner world. Comparing with the 13.5th storey, they verify that they were indeed in another world. Meanwhile, under Renchun's orders, Ba-mei is about to present Cuiyan and Wenbin to the Sleepwalking God...

The night Guoli sleepwalked, he asks Zhiqing back at home who she liked the most - the black (Jiang Wei) or the white (Wenbin). Jiang Wei is cool, manly and even has the force to punch his decayed tooth out. Wenbin looks perfect, but is far too perfect. He later explains his rationale for answering the question so that Zhiqing would not marry with the wrong choice and suffer like Cuiyan again.

Zhiqing discovers they are not in the real world. Back at Kampong Mimpi, Zhiqing and Jiang Wei realise it is all a dream. Renchun, Jixiang and the others do not exist. They observe the movements of Renchun and his men and the reappear at another house after entering a house. Suddenly, they run after finding themselves in front of the men. Meanwhile, Cuiyan and Wenbin was saved at the moment so that Renchun and Ba-mei can present all these "devils" to the Sleepwalking God. Cuiyan tells Wenbin that if they manage to escape, she hopes he will court Zhiqing. He deduces that they came to the kampong after going into a slumber. In the dream, they could not smell the joss sticks or taste the food there. At the same time, Jiang Wei figures out the origin behind what happened just now, and learns about the "Anywhere Door" used by the kampong. Only Guoli could help them save Cuiyan and Wenbin and escape from the dream. They take Ba-mei and Xiaomei hostage to save Wenbin and Cuiyan from capture. Even after looking at a family photograph, Guoli insists he does not know them, until Zhiqing shows him the 4D ticket that jolts Guoli’s memory. Five years ago, he got dumped in the grasslands by his creditors after he cheated in gambling. Guoli walked to the dilapidated building as the day gets dark, and finds Xiaomei who was lost there. He brings her home the next day through the forest, but suddenly finds her missing. Panicked, he runs, and got knocked unconscious after getting tripped by a tree branch. He wakes up to find three strange men looking at him, and Xiaomei shows Ba-mei to him. Suffering amnesia, he lived with Ba-mei and Xiaomei for those years. It was not until he passed by the building again that he returned to the real world. Guoli manages to save Cuiyan and Wenbin using the Anywhere Door, but they are all caught by Renchun and his men again. As they are about to retaliate, they clarify that they mean no harm and it was all a misunderstanding. They brought them to the park by the river, which is still virgin and smells fresh from all the deforestation by the "devils". Renchun agrees to let the five of them return to the real world, but Ba-mei objects as she does not want Guoli to go. Guoli decides to stay so that the rest of the four can go back to the real world, and entrusts Jiang Wei and Wenbin to take care of Zhiqing. Ba-mei is the village sorceress and only she knows how to send them back to the real world. As she performs the ritual, the four plunged into a deep sleep...

The four of them went back to the dilapidated building and finally gasps a breath. As they went home, Zhiqing expressed in her thought that she would miss her father. When the four drove back to Singapore, they pass by several housing blocks and construction sites.

Jiang Wei dreamt of Meichen again. She smiled to him at first, but suddenly shook her head and apologized. He drifted apart from Meichen in the corridor, and woke up from the bad dream. Zhiqing instigates that this dream is the key to a truth that they are about to discover. Meanwhile, Zhiqing meets up with Wenbin at the hospital, where he tells her about the butterfly dream by Zhuangzi, a Chinese philosopher. He later confesses his love to Zhiqing.

Mingyao and Zhigang kidnap a young girl, and carries her to the rooftop of the house. Hanxiang attempts to save the girl by being nice and puts his hands off the gun. Suddenly, Mingyao and Zhigang realized that they were cornered by the police...

Hanxiang cleans his younger sister's medals, and hopes for her cheerful and active sister to come out of the room. Lixuan aspires to represent Singapore in the Asian Games and Olympics. However, she remained comatose for over a year. Meanwhile, after learning that Wenbin has expressed his love for Zhiqing, Cuiyan spreads the news around, and this embarrasses Zhiqing. She even let Zhiqing off from manning the stall so that she and Wenbin could eat lunch together. Hanxiang meets Jiang Wei when he turns up at the church where Meichen went missing. Jiang Wei suspects Meichen left for someone else, a third party. He is grateful when Hanxiang encourages him not to give up hope. Hanxiang reminds him that when everyone else had given up hope for his sister, Lixuan, Jiang Wei was the only one who believed she would come round one day. Jiang Wei asks Zhiqing to take a look at Lixuan’s inner world. Zhiqing instantly recognizes her as the person who had saved her three times. The first time, five to six years ago, Lixuan saved her from being hit by a fallen brick from the flat. The second time was when Zhiqing found the ability to see people's inner worlds. Lixuan saves her from an accident with a bus. Zhiqing discovers that she is wearing patient's clothes and a bandage around her head. The third time, Lixuan prevents her from going for a coach bus trip, knowing that she will be killed if she boards the bus. When she takes off her spectacles, Lixuan morphs into a happy 10-year-old girl, sitting up from the bed, smiling gleefully. She immediately puts them back on when she accidentally sees Hanxiang carrying a huge bag around his back burdened with regret, but would not let it go. Jiang Wei reveals how Lixuan was left in a vegetative state after an alleged act of revenge against Hanxiang. Hanxiang suspects that the culprits responsible for the ‘accident’ are Mingyao and Zhigang, both of whom had just been released from prison. When they were 16, they kidnapped a young girl with breathing difficulties. Hanxiang and Jiang Wei arrests the both of them, while Zhigang tells Hanxiang to help them. When the court finds them guilty and sent them to prison without showing leniency in giving their jail terms, Zhigang vows to seek revenge. Hanxiang trails the both of them to find out that they are planning to kidnap another woman. Meanwhile, Zhiqing is disappointed Jiang Wei does not react when told Wenbin is dating her. Wenbin thinks Zhiqing refuses to accept him because she has seen his inner self. Jiang Wei begins to suspect Hanxiang when told his mother did not place the bouquet of white flowers at the spot where Meichen disappeared but had seen Hanxiang. Could Hanxiang be the third party?

At the start of the episode, Jiang Wei, Hanxiang and Meichen are seen chatting in a restaurant.

With Zhiqing’s help, Jiang Wei verifies that Hanxiang loved Meichen as well. Jiang Wei remembers that Meichen had wanted to sort things out with him, but he ignored her. He concludes that she did not want to marry him, but cannot understand why she chose to disappear. Hanxiang finds out Mingyao and Zhigang are preparing to kidnap a rich girl. He prepares to nab them in the act but is discovered. He beats the two men up, even though they deny hurting Lixuan. Overpowered, however, he loses consciousness. Jiang Wei visits Hanxiang in hospital and learns about the kidnap. From the clues, he and Hanxiang deduce the victim is being kept at a construction site. Hanxiang manages to save the girl and is about to shoot at Mingyao when Jiang Wei stops him. Jiang Wei gets Zhiqing to take care of Lixuan. Luo Zhiliang, Lixuan’s classmate, turns up. Zhiqing urges him to talk to Lixuan, to possibly revive her. She soon realises Zhiliang wants to take Lixuan away and tries to stop him, but was knocked out, and slips into a coma. Cuiyan blames Jiang Wei. Hanxiang verifies that it was Zhiliang who kidnapped Lixuan after being spurned. While comatose, Zhiqing gets transported back in time three years and sees Meichen at the hospital.

Meichen was sent to hospital. Jiang Wei rushes to the hospital ward. That night, he is supposed to meet Meichen, but was late. As she went up the stairs because the lift malfunctioned, she falls down, and lost her baby in the process. Jiang Wei tries to comfort her, however, she gets agitated and lets go of his hands.

Jiang Wei blames himself for not being there with Meichen and Zhiqing, and said to himself if he were to slip into a coma, he would go back in time to save them. Jiang Wei answers Hanxiang's question of where the soul of a comatose person has gone. First, Zhiqing sees Lixuan's inner soul as a 10-year-old, which meant that she has gone to the time when she was 10. Second, Zhiqing sees her head bandaged when she realized the ability to see other people's inner souls. This indicates that during that time, her brain had suffered a concussion. Third, Hanxiang remembers that Lixuan saved Zhiqing thrice, but Lixuan did not mention it to him. However, she did tell him that she lost her memory a few times, and could not remember where she went or what she did. It represented that Lixuan of the past had been replaced by Lixuan of the present. Zhiqing transports back in time three years, to a few days before Meichen disappeared, to discover Meichen going off with Hanxiang. Before she could chase up with them, Zhiqing suddenly gets transported back to the present. Meantime, Jiang Wei remembers Zhiqing seeing his inner soul with no pupil in his eyes, and follows him. Hanxiang's vision blurred while they were driving, and rushes out while he turned blind. Jiang Wei learns his genetic eye ailment and needs Lixuan’s corneas. However, Hanxiang refuses to accept her corneas, as he still hopes she will come round. Zhiqing hears Wenbin singing to her and playing his guitar. He reveals he did not have the courage to ask her whether she likes Jiang Wei. What he wants now is for her to come round, and will wait till that happens. When he goes out of the ward after seeing her limbs move, Zhiqing gets transported back to the eve of Meichen's disappearance at the same place where she was last transported to. To prevent Meichen from disappearing, Zhiqing attempts to find her, but Meichen does not understand Zhiqing's gibberish, and chases her away. When she is about to look for Hanxiang, she gets transported back to the present. The medical team discovers Zhiqing's brain cells active. As Wenbin attempts to get Zhiqing out from the coma, Zhiqing gets transported back to Jiang Wei’s wedding day, where she was at the place where Meichen disappeared. As she proceeds to the church, she tries in vain to tell Meichen about her upcoming disappearance. She stops the latter from running away at the church. Jiang Wei finds out that their relationship is over and Meichen has fallen for Hanxiang. He rushes out of the church after beating Hanxiang up, and Zhiqing chases after him. She resisted the force of bringing herself back to the present. Unexpectedly, Jiang Wei gets hit by a car. Grieved, Zhiqing sees Jiang Wei dying before she reluctantly gets transported back to the present. Still disheartened over his death, Zhiqing clings on to Jiang Wei when she knows he is fine.

Lixuan's hours are numbered.[1] Hanxiang understands about Lixuan's 10-year-old birthday wish: To use his eyes to see the world. They carry her ashes to a park so as to fulfill her wish. Meanwhile, Zhiqing accepts her love to Wenbin, and this made him happy.

16-year-old Wenbin is seen practicing his violin at the beginning of the episode. His parents wanted him to perform exceptionally well. However, he enjoys playing the guitar, and is seen holding the trophy he won in the school competition. When his father confiscates the guitar and trophy away, Wenbin felt devastated and his world tore apart.

Jiang Wei receives a phone call from a mysterious man that claims he knows of Meichen’s news. He demands twenty thousand dollars from Jiang Wei. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing sets off to the meeting point and sees a man, Liu Guowei, behaving suspiciously. Jiang Wei rushes up to him and pins him down, forcing him to spill the news about Meichen. Guowei is visibly shaken and denies knowing anything.

As Wenbin is about to go off for work, he felt the presence of a white figure walking past in the mirror facing his bed. A disheartened Jiang Wei could not stop searching for Meichen even though all leads to Meichen turn up nothing, but kept thinking of Zhiqing. He looked visibly pale that morning when Zhiqing saw him, however Jiang Wei declined her offer to visit the doctor. When she brought him medication to his house, she sees a mirror facing his bed, and thinks it might be the cause of Jiang Wei's illness. Wenbin tells Zhiqing about his family life. His parents had high expectations of their children, and wanted them to study medicine. He has a sister, Wenqian, who suffers from mental illness brought on by extreme parental stress to come up a report on senile dementia, and struggles with a workload of data. She even looked up on the Yellow Pages to get information on it. Wenbin decided to study psychiatry so as to find a way to cure her. When Wenbin's father, Huangzong, wants to see his girlfriend on his birthday, Wenbin brings her to choose outfits. Zhiqing feels stressed when Wenbin asks her to attend Huangzong’s birthday celebration. Meantime, Jiang Wei receives a phone call from a mysterious man that claims he knows of Meichen’s news, but demands $20,000. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing sets off to the meeting point and sees a man, Liu Guowei, behaving suspiciously. Jiang Wei rushes up to him and pins him down, forcing him to spill the news. Guowei is visibly shaken and denies knowing anything. As Jiang Wei chases after him, when he suddenly collapses on the floor. Zhiqing takes him to the hospital. There, she spots Guowei lurking around, and fears that he might do harm to Jiang Wei. Thus, she informs Wenbin that she would not attend the birthday celebration. Wenbin became suspicious about their relationship and tells Zhiqing that she has to choose between him and Jiang Wei. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing finds Guowei familiar: He had knocked Jiang Wei down when she was in the past. Wenbin’s father objects to his relationship with Zhiqing. Wenbin suddenly lost control of his suppressed feelings, and walks out. On the way, Wenqian sees him for who he really was in the mirror. He felt as if his reflection was playing tricks on him, as he made his way to the hospital. As he was in the toilet, Zhiqing found him talking to the mirror, and was clinging on to a pillar when she entered. Feeling distressed, he asks her to look at his inner world. That night, while he plays the guitar, he hears his inner soul cackle and smashes the mirror to bits. This scene was overseen by Wenqian.

EIGHT YEARS AGO - Wenbin finds himself entering a den where a band is playing rock music. He joins in and had a high time playing rock and drinking beer. When he fell drunk, the rock trio strips his clothes and dumps him in an alley to leave him to go crazier.

Now, Wenbin goes even more berserk when he sees his reflection in the mirror and ran out of the house, afraid of being replaced by the devil in it. He was discovered by Zhiqing when he hides at the backyard where the boxes are laid. Wenbin went bonkers and tries to kiss her, but is being knocked out by Jiang Wei. He was sent to the mental hospital. Guilt-stricken, Zhiqing tries to help him. She feels he is merely trying to avoid something in his life; he refuses to tell her anything. Zhiqing and Jiang Wei look for clues in Wenbin’s house. His mother, Bixia, blames Zhiqing and tries to slap her. Zhiqing tells Jiang Wei that she saw a wild and arrogant rocker with red pupils and thick make-up in Wenbin’s inner world. She knows his father did not allow him to listen to rock music or play the guitar. Wenqian walks into the room and rants about a demon in the mirror, in front of Wenbin's bed and had already been damaged. Hanxiang manages to locate Liu Guowei, the mysterious man who had tailed Jiang Wei. Guowei denies he is acquainted with Jiang Wei. Wenbin finally tells Zhiqing what he sees in the mirror. The devil in him is able to talk to him. At night, when Wenbin goes to the toilet, he avoids looking at the devil in the mirror, but finally gives in and the two swapped positions...

Hanxiang was in the mental hospital when Jiang Wei and Zhiqing went in. Hanxiang explained to them that Wenbin had escaped from the hospital after being able to freeze a CID officer from capturing him. Jiang Wei tells a worried Zhiqing that Wenbin will definitely look her up. Wenbin who was dressed as a rocker, and the hypnotized rock band in the beginning of the episode appears before Zhiqing. Wenbin asks her to choose between him and Jiang Wei.

MANY YEARS AGO - Wenbin tries to choke his sister to death. Wenqian gets frightened when sees something in the mirror in front of his bed...

Wenbin who was dressed as a rocker, and the rock band in the previous episode appears before Zhiqing. Wenbin asks her to choose between him and Jiang Wei. Zhiqing has no idea how to react. Wenbin flies into a rage, freezes her and Jiang Wei, and drags them to Jiang Wei's apartment. He discovered that he possesses a supernatural power that allows him to use music to control the people around him. Through his music, he glued Jiang Wei on his bed facing his mirror, and turns the mirror image of Jiang Wei into the vagabond of his inner world, before hypnotizing Zhiqing into a woman who loves him unreservedly. Wenbin held a mini concert for her and his parents. Later, he lashed out at his parents for crushing his dream and forcing him to do things he does not like. Even though Zhiqing now keeps saying she loves him, Wenbin realizes that Zhiqing’s words are like a robot, and he cannot feel any love from her. He surmises that she will be truly devoted to him if Jiang Wei is get ridden of. He uses his music to remove her hypnotism, but when Zhiqing calls him a demon, he hypnotizes her again. Cuiyan calls find Zhiqing but to no avail, and realized that Jiang Wei's door was left ajar. She finds Zhiqing's phone. When she enters his bedroom, she sees him as a vagabond who is talking backwards, and quickly calls Hanxiang. Jiang Wei turns up at the church and is reminded of the past. He does not retaliate when Guowei appears to kill him. Hanxiang turns up in time to scare Guowei away. Cuiyan gets frightened when Wenbin takes her to his house to witness his marriage. Zhiqing wakes up to find herself in Wenqian's room when she could not find Wenbin in her hypnotized state. She sees Wenqian morph as a normal person holding a trophy in her inner soul. She motioned for her to calm down. She tries to escape, but was stopped by one of Wenbin's men. Wenbin appears with the hypnotized Cuiyan and tells him off, Zhiqing pretend to get hypnotized. He told everyone, including Wenqian who was not hypnotized and busy reading her Yellow Pages, that they are about to marry. On their wedding day, Zhiqing brings Wenbin to see his reflection, but he remains to be cocky and does not return his body to him. He hypnotizes Zhiqing. At the church, the solemnized their love for each other. Cuiyan takes photos for them, Wenbin sees his own reflection and knocks Zhiqing out. Regaining her senses at the last minute, Zhiqing runs away. Meanwhile, Jiang Wei and Hanxiang went to the church. Jiang Wei had not bathed for days and smelt pungent. He blames himself for Meichen's disappearance. He grabs Hanxiang’s gun and tries to kill himself, when Zhiqing runs to them, pleading him not to leave her. As Wenbin grabs her, the vagabond, reminded of how Meichen went missing, suddenly breaks out of his character by speaking normally, and urges him to let go of her. He freezes all other people surrounding the two of them, while Jiang Wei resists it as he came out of the mirror as well. He controls the others to surround Jiang Wei, and drags her away in the backyard. Jiang Wei forced them away, bleeding their noses in the processes, and chases after them. Jiang Wei and Wenbin fight, and just as Wenbin escapes, they come across a mirror and Jiang Wei's body and inner soul swapped back positions...

Wenbin remains unhappy even though he is able to control others using his power. Just then, his sister gave him his trophy and guitar she continued to keep after they were apparently confiscated by his father. Zhiqing appears, and counsels him. He realized that his sister was the first to see his inner soul when he tried to choke his sister. Zhiqing sees his pupils turn from red to black. His body and inner soul swapped back positions through the mirror...

Zhiqing smiles when she sees Wenbin back at work normally, and apologized as she felt that she could not manage the situation very well. Wenbin speaks her to consider him if she remains unmarried at the age of 40. Jiang Wei could let go of Meichen, but insists that he would not get into a relationship with Zhiqing yet, until he finds her.

Jiang Wei is tasked with locating Hu Haoming, who disappeared while on the MRT three years ago. Haoming’s father, Songde, is anxious about his son. The CCTV footage shows Haoming getting into the train, but there is no footage of him leaving the station. In the midst of investigations, Jiang Wei receives an SMS message from Meichen's phone number, even though it had discontinued. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing go to the train station to look for clues. When they leave the station,[2] they lost each other. Jiang Wei senses that even though everything looks similar, he seems to be in a different world - his keys could not access his original apartment, which was occupied by another household. Hanxiang is shocked to see Jiang Wei; in this particular dimension, Jiang Wei had died in an accident three years ago. Hanxiang settled his funeral and witnessed his cremation. He reveals that Meichen is alive. Zhiqing also finds her surroundings strange - she gets wooed by fans she does not know. She tries to call Jiang Wei from a public phone, but he does not pick it up. She then calls on Wenbin. Wenbin is surprised to see Zhiqing; in this dimension, she is a celebrity because of her ability to see a person’s inner world. She is supposed to be on a tour with Cuiyan, and not yet due back for their wedding. Jiang Wei is finally reunited with Meichen. Zhiqing finds that in this dimension, she lives in a big mansion, and is hosting a reality series, Beautiful Psychic. Wenbin meets Jiang Wei and Hanxiang. He is about to take them to Zhiqing when he learns the other Zhiqing is back.

Five months ago, Jiang Wei views a CD which was filmed during Meichen's date in Christmas four years ago. It was her first Christmas with Jiang Wei, she spent her previous Christmases with her family, friends and relatives. He proposed to Meichen before the camera's battery died. After watching the video, he asks, "Meichen, where are you now?"

Zhiqing and the other Zhiqing meet, and celebrity Zhiqing assumes the old Zhiqing is an imposter and knocks her out. Wenbin, Jiang Wei and Hanxiang turn up and save Zhiqing. Everyone is shocked to learn she is also from another dimension. The new Zhiqing and Cuiyan keeps the old one in as another twin sister and daughter. Jiang Wei, Zhiqing and Wenbin return to the MRT station. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing remember they were looking for a man named Haoming. One day ago when they entered the dimension, they saw him leaving near the exit, and lost each other when they tried to go after him. Jiang Wei is reunited with his parents in this new dimension. Though he feels happy, he knows none of this belongs to him. That night, Cuiyan and Zhiqing conversed with each other. She reflects missing the old days when her celebrity daughter accompanied her to sell beehoon. Nowadays, she is busy and has no time to spend time with her mother for dinner. The two Zhiqing's slept together that night, where the old Zhiqing learns how the new one managed to change her character and styling, and managing her special powers. The next day, celebrity Zhiqing makes use of the old Zhiqing at a press conference, making everyone think she could clone herself. She is upset when Wenbin realized that she has changed since gaining fame, because she grew jealous of the original Zhiqing and was afraid that she would replace her and take away the attention of all her loved ones. Jiang Wei and Zhiqing learn Haoming, a cardiologist, died in an accident five years ago in this dimension and his death was related to a female patient, Luo Huimin. Huimin had died in a heart transplant performed by Haoming three years ago in the original dimension, while back here, she had not been performed by and is still living. Her life would be in danger if a suitable heart donor is not found. Zhiqing and Jiang Wei manage to find Haoming. He has no idea how to return to the other dimension, but believes they are there for a reason. Meanwhile, Jiang Wei introduces Meichen to Zhiqing. That night, he sees the CD of Meichen's date in Christmas with Jiang Wei, and he tells her that he is not the one Jiang Wei is looking for. He insists on going back to the original dimension to look for her. Zhiqing, at the same time, feels that they are a nice couple and expresses her sorrows to Cuiyan. Cuiyan knows about love and relationship and tells her she never regrets marrying her father. Back at the MRT station, Jiang Wei and Zhiqing see Guowei, and they chase after him when they flee. He hides at the carpark entrance and comes out, sees a similar Zhiqing who happened to be there, and follows after her...

Three years ago, Meichen runs away from the church into a corner near the place where she went "missing", while Jiang Wei who gives chase gets blocked by two movers carrying mirrors.

The ‘new Zhiqing’ is unable to accept that she has lost the power to look into the inner world of others. She wants the ‘original Zhiqing’ to be responsible for her loss. the ‘original Zhiqing’ has no choice but to help the ‘new Zhiqing’ see through the intentions of her guests at an event. Unfortunately, they are exposed and the ‘new Zhiqing’ is branded a cheat.

Jiang Wei suspects Guowei had deliberately knocked him down. He asks Hanxiang to investigate. Guowei attacks the new Zhiqing. When the original Zhiqing and Jiang Wei rush to the scene of the attack, Zhiqing stayed behind, while Jiang Wei chased after Guowei, who gets knocked down by a vehicle afterwards. Jiang Wei finally learns about the misunderstanding between him and Guowei. Guowei's son was seen addicted to glue-sniffing five years ago. Jiang Wei tries to save him and his friend from jumping off the building, but the weight of the two is too heavy for him to save at a time. Guowei's son sacrificed himself to save his friend. Before dying, Guowei expressed his relief that Jiang Wei did not die. Using Guowei's heart which is suitable for Huimin, Haoming performs the transplant. Meanwhile, the celebrity Zhiqing asks the original Zhiqing to see her inner soul. The old Zhiqing once saw her own inner soul when she faced her bedroom mirror, and sees her back facing the mirror. When Zhiqing removes her glasses, she sees a bloated Zhiqing smiling with her head high. When the new Zhiqing checks if her conclusion is correct, she realized that she could not see her own and the other inner souls. Upset by her loss of her special powers, celebrity Zhiqing blames Zhiqing for her plight and demands she bear responsibility. She gets Zhiqing to help during the filming of a programme by disguising herself. The two Zhiqing's are exposed when the original suddenly shrieks seeing one of its production staff, and the both of them escape. Everyone assumes the celebrity is a con artist who had used her "twin sister" to cheat people of their money. The new Zhiqing learns about her own inner soul,and realises she is corrupted by fame. Haoming understands that with Guowei’s death, his mission is accomplished and he can return to the other dimension. He tells Jiang Wei that all those who enter this dimension have a mission to complete or a wish to fulfill. When it is done, that person will be able to return to the other world. What Haoming reveals forces Jiang Wei to face the biggest secret in his hear, that Meichen was killed in a car accident and Jiang Wei could not cope with it,thus making up her disappearance. Zhiqing worries when he chose not to go back to the original dimension with her,but he promises he'll come back...

Zhiqing bades farewell to her friends in the new dimension and returns home,(before exchanging scrapbooks with the other Zhiqing).All is fine.Cuiyang's soul is now a happy clown,and Wenbin's soul is no longer the evil rocker.Zhiqing also learns to control her ability to see souls without glasses,but she still misses Jiangwei.Haxiang tells Zhiqing his girlfriend is making a movie about their adventures called"Beyond",and offers Zhiqing to be his assistant.

Zhiqing receives an SMS from Jiangwei that he is back.The episode closes with the duo reunited at the MRT station.
